1. Hurshtown Reservoir

A favorite among anglers in Allen County. This reservoir offers shoreline access, electric-motor boat use, and a variety of fish including bass, crappie, catfish, and walleye. It has picnic areas, trails, and kayak/boat rentals too.


2. Cedarville Reservoir

Just north of Fort Wayne, this reservoir has larger water and diverse habitat. Fishers target largemouth bass, bluegill, and channel catfish here.


3. Lake Everett

Known locally as great panfish water, Lake Everett is a smaller lake with public boat access and shoreline opportunities. Expect good catches of crappie and bluegill.


4. Blue Lake (Whitley County)

About 15–20 miles north of Fort Wayne, Blue Lake is a scenic lake with opportunities for bass, bluegill, and crappie.
